The Sleek Style of Tom Cruise

Everyone agrees that Tom Cruise is one of the most attractive and fashionable men in Hollywood. Most of women try to find him irresistible and most of men can't help but imitate Cruise. He was even voted as one of The People Magazine's '50 Most of Beautiful People in the World' thrice, and as 'Sexiest Man Alive' in 1990.

Aside from his handsome looks, he is also known for his trend setting fashion. He does not follow the current fashion trend, but he makes one. His clothing choices are very classic, sophisticated while still being subdued. He wears his outfits with a flashing and confident aura so he can pull off any hairstyle and any accessory.

The most frequently worn hair style that Cruise favors is the medium short, intentionally messy look, like what is seen in Mission Impossible or Jerry Maguire. You can get this look by using gel or paste to your wet hair and running your fingers through it to a moderately controlled messy hair. It was a low maintenance look that made Tom Cruise much more strikingly irresistible. Another trendy hairstyle is the bad boy shoulder length hair that he wore in Mission Impossible 2 and The Last Samurai. You can get this look by having a hair cut that is tapered on the sides and is longer in the front to ensure that you can brush your hair back from your face to make it fuller.

Regarding his jewelry, he has not been with any jewelry, but he is seen wearing some indispensable accessories like trendy sunglasses, small hint of facial hair, and a carefully grown 'not trying too hard' five o clock shadow.

From 1989 to mid 90s he did some outstanding roles in "Born on the Fourth of July" and "A Few Good Men" both showcasing his talents. The former won him awards like the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor and People's Choice Award for favorite Motion Picture Actor. It also gave him his first Best Actor Academy Award nomination. He proved himself once again with his Oscar-nominated performance in "Jerry Maguire" and also scored his financial success with "Mission Impossible" in 1996.

He is an ardent supporter of Scientology, a sect considered as one of the most controversial religious movement which obviously brought him to negative criticism in the public eye. He turned producer in 2006 when he took over United Artists Studio in partnership with Paula Wagner and came out with movies like "Lions for Lambs" and "Valkyire" which received mixed reviews.
